Gasbusters is an over-the-counter medication available in peppermint-flavored capsules, containing Simethicone. Simethicone works by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the stomach, facilitating the release of trapped gas. However, Simethicone is not effective for addressing gas issues beyond the stomach. In such cases, activated charcoal proves to be beneficial.
